Literacy and recommended reading
Word Glossaries which are organised by Year group, are given to our pupils on a half-termly basis. The glossaries show subject specialist language (Tier 2 and 3 vocabulary) that is likely to be used within lessons during that term and clearly define terms so that pupils can refer to them.

Subject Reading Canons
The term 'literary canon' refers to a body of narratives, texts or books that are considered to be very important and influential. Each of our departments have been tasked with assembling a list of books that students could read that would support their studies.
